Job Description
This full-time position is for a General Manager of a High-Volume Casual Indian Restaurant Chain. The GM is responsible for overall restaurant performance, including sales, profits, financial management, and operational excellence. They also provide leadership to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and adherence to company policies and standards.
Requirements
- Three to five years of management experience in the restaurant business
- Demonstrated success in financial management
- Knowledge of OSHA and EEOC regulations, restaurant/food safety procedures, federal and state employment laws
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Bi-lingual proficiency (English and a second language is a plus)
- Experience with POS systems
- Food Safety Manager certification
