Cypress Creek Renewables is seeking an enthusiastic individual to play an important role in the fast-moving, nimble solar IPP. The company is powering a sustainable future, one project at a time, and is looking for a Site Safety Manager to support the construction of a utility-scale solar project.
Requirements
- Serve as the primary on-site safety representative for Cypress Creek Renewables during project construction.
- Oversee and monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with OSHA regulations, site-specific safety plans, and company HSSE policies.
- Conduct daily site safety observations, inspections, and formal audits; track and close corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and development of corrective and preventive actions.
- Review and approve Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and high-risk work plans.
- Facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site safety orientations.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to field leadership and craft personnel to strengthen safety performance and leadership behaviors.
- Act as a problem-solver and mediator for safety-related conflicts, promoting fair and consistent enforcement of safety expectations.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and metrics for project leadership and corporate HSSE.
- Partner with project management to integrate safety into scheduling, planning, and execution activities.
- Serve as a visible safety leader on site, modeling Cypress Creek Renewables' safety values and expectations.
