We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Fintech domain and play a critical role in shaping a reliable, scalable, and evolving platform that supports both customer payments and internal finance operations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in engineering management roles.
- Strong experience in engineering leadership roles, with proven people management experience and the ability to lead senior engineers.
- Strong technical background in backend and distributed systems, with the ability to guide architecture and engineering decisions in a microservices environment.
- Ability to lead through complexity and ambiguity, especially in domains with many stakeholders, cross-team dependencies, and business-critical workflows.
- Proven experience coaching engineers and engineering leaders, and improving team execution, ownership, and engineering practices.
- Experience partnering effectively with Product Managers and non-engineering stakeholders to drive outcomes and resolve ambiguity.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in English, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of API based systems, event-driven communication patterns, and operational reliability concerns.
- Ability to get up to speed quickly in complex domains and drive progress through structured thinking and clear prioritization.
