The Senior IT Support role is responsible for providing expert technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware, software, and network issues, as well as mentoring junior staff and collaborating with other IT teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior IT Support Specialist or in a similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network infrastructure
- Expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing innovative solutions
- Experience with NAS/SAN storage
- Proficiency in deploying and managing Windows, Linux and/or Mac operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Proxmox)
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for process automation and workflow optimization
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Linux LPI, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSA), or equivalent are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is a plus
