The CWOP Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, stability, and well-being of children entering or transitioning placements within the Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) network. This position is responsible for coordinating and documenting both initial and subsequent placements, supporting placement stability through close partnership with caregivers and providers, and providing direct supervision to children when an immediate placement is not available.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in social work, human services, psychology or related field
- Experience working with children in foster care, child welfare, or placement coordination strongly preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage competing priorities, and respond calmly in high-stress situations
- Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and placement stability strategies
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with IMPACT and other child welfare data systems preferred
