Job Description
DIALOG is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design high-performance building systems and lead projects from concept to completion. The role involves designing HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and heating/cooling systems for commercial and institutional buildings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- PEng licensure (or eligibility)
- LEED accreditation (asset)
- Proficient with BIM software (Revit preferred)
- 5+ years of experience designing HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems for commercial/institutional buildings
- Strong knowledge of schematic design, design development, detailed calculations, and contract administration
- Skilled in equipment selection and specification writing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Energetic, proactive, and collaborative
