Requirements
- Hires and builds strong teams by partnering closely with the Executive Director or Common Purpose Director
- Follows standard operating procedures around performance management when handling teammate discipline
- Directly manages team in assigned departments (Apparel, Footwear, and Hardlines)
- Leads through coaching and development by providing in-the-moment coaching
- Regularly conducts data digs using financial and operational tools
- Utilizes Legion guidelines, workload planner, and budget to build effective schedules
- Responsible for meeting budgets in the areas of sales and profitabilty
- Creates opportunities to get involved with the communities, hosting events, support volunteer opportunities
- Actively recruits within the community to ensure the store’s teammates reflect the communities that it serves
- Oversees the planning, scheduling, and execution of all seasonal Gameplan sets and updates
- Walks the store routinely to validate visual standards are being maintained
- Drives the overall financial performance of the store by implementing strategies to improve through the areas of sales, expense, all P&L categories, metrics, and store contribution
- Maintains a people-first culture by consistently connecting with teammates and building mutual trust and respect
- Creates an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates & athletes) feels safe, welcome, and encouraged to bring their best self to work
