The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing accounting and finance activities for China and other locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Requirements
- Manage and supervise accounting functions for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international standards.
- Perform month-end closing, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation of financial statements.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including the resolution of discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure all taxes are prepared and submitted to the Revenue Department within the timeline.
- Prepare and keep records of withholding tax documents and payment vouchers.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff and other departments on accounting issues.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for annual audits and reviews.
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain and enhance accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
