Job Description
The Electrical Controls and Commissioning Engineer will support the development, creation, testing, and commissioning of PLC and HMI/SCADA programs for conveyor system control within the Material Handling Industry. This role involves collaborating on programming and field commissioning tasks, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and reliable control solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Rockwell Automation platforms (RsLogix, Studio 5000, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Ethernet/IP communications, ControlNet, DeviceNet, and other industrial control networks.
- Hands-on experience with FactoryTalk View SE and ME software.
- Solid background in HMI development and integration.
- Confer with project managers, customers, and others to understand project specifications.
- Prepare detailed and complete PLC programs that are fully annotated and comply with system design drawings.
- Fully test and document testing procedures.
- Travel to job sites for commissioning and start-up activities.
- Active Listening & Communication skills.
