Freight Forwarding Operations and Customer Service Agent

DP World is seeking a Freight Forwarding Operations and Customer Service Agent to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, address concerns, and ensure their satisfaction. The role involves managing files, providing clients with necessary documentation, and liaising with airlines/ocean lines. The agent will assess market trends and enhance service offerings.

Requirements

• Manage file creation and related freight forwarding and logistics services
• Assist with account initiation and liaison with sales to ensure required documents are provided
• Monitor/audit files weekly for compliance of estimate input, profit margin setting and timely invoicing
• Assist clients with export/import documentation and ensure proper transportation file execution
• Liaise with airlines/ocean lines for optimal solutions
• Act quickly upon potential emergency situations
• Network with colleagues to facilitate workflow and ensure efficient support
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding and logistics
• Attention to detail and accuracy
