DTU National Food Institute is seeking a DTU Tenure Track Assistant Professor who will work on ambitious research projects to achieve modernization of monitoring and control of food producing animals and food. The work will include collection of data in the field, use of register data, application of AI models, validation data management, and statistical analyses.
Requirements
- PhD degree (or equivalent) within the relevant field such as food engineering, food science, veterinarian science, epidemiology, biotechnology, biology, or similar
- Background in engineering within food science or veterinary education
- Ability to speak and write English fluently
- Ability to speak and write Danish fluently (advantage)
- Experience with National food surveillance data (advantage)
- Ability to plan studies and conduct analyses
- Ability to disseminate research through publications and attendance at conferences
- Ability to supervise and teach students
- Ability to work in a team and take part in research group activities
