The Production Supervisor will oversee the activities of the team, prioritize tasks, and ensure quality output and on-time completion.

Requirements

Prioritizing daily tasks and production needs
Overseeing the daily activities of the production, operations, recycling, and shipping & receiving teams
Inspecting all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
Adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Supervising the mixing and packaging of batches
Ensuring quality output and on-time completion
Monitoring hourly performance levels in Department to achieve production standards and resolve problems
Ensuring the completion of production records and performing the data entry
Responding to daily employee relations issues
Maintaining good housekeeping processes
Fostering a positive work environment
Recommending process improvements
Assisting the Plant Manager to identify and lead investments and organizational changes
Maintaining daily logs and record plant operating data
Effectively communicating and interacting with employees, supervisors, and customers
Ensuring supplies are distributed as required throughout the facility
General housekeeping of the plant and surrounding areas
Reporting process and/or safety equipment issues
Complying with all safety requirements
Performing other duties as assigned
