Job Description
The CAD Designer is responsible for AutoCAD drafting of land development plans for retail, commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
Requirements
- Plan and prepare preliminary layouts and detailed design drawings from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings
- Draft Land Development Plans, Zoning Plans, Concept Plans, and Construction Documents
- Draft Site Plan Renderings for Municipal Presentations
- Work closely with Engineers, Designers, and other Drafters to ensure coordination design effort is maintained
- Complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule
- Organize/maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files, and project-related information
- Utilize 3rd party applications like AutoTURN and AGI32 to generate drawings based on specific project requirements
- Complete earthwork analysis (cut/fill takeoffs)
- Perform other duties as assigned
