Job Description
Join Easterseals PORT Health as a Peer Support Specialist and support individuals living with mental health and substance use challenges in their recovery journey. Provide mentoring, coaching, and advocacy in community settings and inspire hope and empowerment for those served.
Requirements
- Personal lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery
- North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current vehicle insurance
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to support individuals in recovery
