Lead Power Electronics Engineer

Lead Power Electronics Engineer position at Eaton's Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division in Raleigh, NC, responsible for product development and design of high-power three-phase UPS's and energy storage systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution with minimum 5 years work experience in power electronics
• OR a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years work experience in power electronics
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• Familiarity with schematic entry and PCB design tools like Altium, Cadence, etc.
• Experience applying digital control and algorithms to power electronics systems
• Understanding of Magnetics Design for high frequency Power Electronics
• Ability to simulate, analyze, troubleshoot using HIL systems
• Competent with Matlab/Simulink/PLECS and PSPICE
• Analyze and simulate power electronics systems from board level to complex products
• Understanding of layout design principles
• Work in lab environment around high voltage where safety awareness is critical
• Excellent verbal/ written communications
