Job Description
Eaton is seeking a Lead Power Electronics Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will design, model, and implement power electronics circuits for power conversion and protection, develop control and protection algorithms, and collaborate with other engineers to successfully develop and validate designs.
Requirements
- BS in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of related engineering experience in power electronics designs and product development
- Significant modeling, simulation, and analysis experience with tools such as Matlab/Simulink, SPICE, and PLECS
- Customer-focused with good relationship-building skills
- Ability to learn new skills, technical knowledge, products, or industry
- Strong written communication and verbal communication skills
- Design for Six Sigma certification
- Good English written and oral ability
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Collaborative orientation, the ability to succeed in a highly team-oriented, global, and diverse environment.
