Job Description
We're seeking a software engineer to join our Development and Release Engineering (DRE) team at EA Vancouver. As a technical liaison, you will work with development teams to address build issues and improvements, design and implement automation pipelines in our CI system, and monitor and analyze automation systems to resolve performance bottlenecks and respond to breakages. This role will be hybrid, with 3 days a week in the office.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience or education in software development, or related field
- Proficient in software engineering and debugging principles
- Experience with designing, implementing and maintaining automation in CI systems (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Groovy, Python, PowerShell, Batch, Bash)
- Experience with source-control systems (e.g. Perforce, Git)
