Run Engineer

Role Overview

The Run Engineer serves as a vital resource for Operations by applying technical skills to safely execute the supply plan. The Run Engineer enables the safe and reliable production at a low cost that meets or exceeds the customer requirements.

What You Will Do

Works closely with the operations team leveraging their problem-solving skills and technical expertise. Owns day to day production troubleshooting, leads cross functional team to address production issues.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines to solve complex problems. Must possess demonstrated ability to teach/train staff members at all levels.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering required, Chemical or Electrical Engineering preferred
• 2 years of experience Manufacturing and Engineer required; in the chemical industry preferred
• Certifications in Six Sigma (Green Belt, Lean) preferred
• Fluent verbal and written skills required to be able communicate within the operations team and with other Elementis departments
