Director of Safety and Security

The Director of Safety & Security leads organization-wide efforts to protect people, assets, and information by developing, collaborating-on, and implementing policies and post orders, managing security personnel, assessing and mitigating risks and general liability, coordinating emergency preparedness and fire safety, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards of local authority/NYS DOH/CMS/OSHA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• NY State Security License
• Minimum of five years related experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
• Prior supervisory experience in safety and security operations
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
• Knowledge of physical security, cybersecurity, and relevant technologies
