Job Description
The Director of Security serves as the key point of contact for the JCC and provides strategic direction and leadership for all aspects of security, overseeing security services and related operations, and leading the team in catastrophic response. The Director is responsible for physical and logical security technologies, contract management, industry-recommended practices, and has a solid knowledge of security and risk frameworks.
Requirements
- 10 years related security/military/law enforcement experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security or related degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- Ability to discern security threats based on information received from law enforcement agencies
- Ability to provide effective direction to staff and maintain professional composure in response to high-pressured, emergency situations
