Job Description
EL1 instructors are the youth training partners of Major League Baseball, responsible for developing and delivering skill-specific instruction to beginner to advanced athletes. They build relationships with athletes, families, and coaches and work in various settings such as baseball and softball training facilities and fields. The position requires strong organizational skills, instructional plan adaptation, and a supportive attitude.
Requirements
- Played and/or coached at the collegiate and/or professional level
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructional plans and rotate station materials
- Adaptable instructional plan-building abilities
- Supportive and encouraging mindset
- Learning and utilizing technologies for instruction
- Frequent local travel
