Job Description
Embracing Abilities is seeking an enthusiastic Board Certified Recreational Therapist to travel and conduct therapy sessions with clients in their homes and/or community-based facilities. The therapist will assess needs, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to help clients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Autism, CP, Dual Diagnosis, and other disabilities. The role offers autonomy and the opportunity to build a caseload and meet flexible schedule needs.
Requirements
- Current certification or ability to obtain certification in Indiana as a Recreational Therapist before start date
- Graduate from an approved school of Recreational Therapy
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Hold a minimum bachelor’s degree
- Ability to work as a team member in various settings
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Ability to work with assigned clients and mentor others
