Maintenance/Operations Shift Supervisor

The Operations Shift Supervisor is responsible for the Safety, Quality, and cost Effectiveness of the maintenance and manufacturing operations in his/her area.

Requirements

• Administer the Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Enforce all work rules and policies of the St. Louis Plant
• Ensure compliance with government agencies for current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Safety: Obey all safety rules and ensure everyone else complies fully
• Schedule operator and mechanic assignments based on their training
• Troubleshoot problems with equipment and enter work requests for maintenance
• Issue all permits needed to ensure work can be done safely
• Inspect readiness for maintenance
• Approve operators and mechanics time worked in the KRONOS system
• Coordinate with Process Engineers to accomplish goals of improved production, quality, and yields
• Serve as the site leader on off shifts and weekends and Incident Commander or Incident Operations role in the incident command structure
