The Operations Shift Supervisor is responsible for the Safety, Quality, and cost Effectiveness of the maintenance and manufacturing operations in his/her area.
Requirements
- Administer the Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Enforce all work rules and policies of the St. Louis Plant
- Ensure compliance with government agencies for current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Safety: Obey all safety rules and ensure everyone else complies fully
- Schedule operator and mechanic assignments based on their training
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment and enter work requests for maintenance
- Issue all permits needed to ensure work can be done safely
- Inspect readiness for maintenance
- Approve operators and mechanics time worked in the KRONOS system
- Coordinate with Process Engineers to accomplish goals of improved production, quality, and yields
- Serve as the site leader on off shifts and weekends and Incident Commander or Incident Operations role in the incident command structure
