EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking an SVP of Actuarial Engineering to join their team. The role involves building analytics products, translating complex actuarial outputs into executive-ready presentations, and working with a lean team to operationalize actuarial models. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of actuarial experience, a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, and expertise in Python, data manipulation, and cloud platforms.
Requirements
- Actuarial Credentials — FCAS or ACAS preferred
- Python — Production-level Python for actuarial modeling, statistical analysis, and data manipulation
- SDLC Fluency — Working understanding of version control, testing, documentation, and engineering handoff as applied to model deployment
- Data & Cloud — Comfort with large policy, claims, and exposure datasets
- Communication — Proven ability to build executive-level presentations and translate actuarial complexity into clear business narratives
- 7+ years of actuarial experience with at least 3 years in commercial-lines brokerage, carrier, or consulting environments
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related quantitative field required; advanced degree preferred
