Accountant

EquipmentShare is hiring an Accountant to join their team at their Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO. The Accountant will be responsible for recommending improvements to accounting systems, analyzing financial information, and preparing reports. The role requires extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting, as well as proficiency in accounting software.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
• Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
• Highly proficient with accounting software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• At least 2 years of accounting experience
