Senior IT System Administrator (m/w/d)
As a senior IT system administrator (m/w/d), you will work together with our team to process all service requests from our internal employees and your colleagues in the company.
You will process these primarily through our ticket system and monitor all components using monitoring software.
In addition to your work in first- and second-level support, which you will perform in-house or in home office (1 day) by arrangement, you are responsible for processing IT projects such as rollouts, but also the administration of the company network using VMWare, Active Directory, etc.
Your Tasks
- Consolidation of historically grown domain structures
- Development and further development of domain and network security
- Documentation and standardization of the environment
- Accompaniment and support for various exciting IT projects
- Self-responsible execution of application and server migrations
- Communication and addition of service providers for support in IT projects
Your Profile
- Completed education or study in the IT field, e.g. as a (fach)informatiker
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in system administration
- Knowledge of, e.g. IT infrastructure, IT security, Active Directory, Microsoft Server, Office 365, Azure, VMWare, HyperV, Client management
- First experiences with security concepts and server and network hardening
- Outstanding sense of proper and conscientious work
- Fluent German language skills
