Pioneer Transformers is a leading North American company that manufactures transformers and electrical distribution equipment. As a mechanical engineer, you will participate in the design, development, and optimization of electronic power platforms and associated components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a particular interest in transformer design or similar products
• Mastery of basic design and analysis tools, including mechanical and thermal analysis software (e.g. AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, FEA)
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. IEEE, UL, IEC, CSA) and regulatory requirements (e.g. DOE) for transformers or their components
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn and apply technical knowledge under supervision
• Communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
