Requirements
- Review patent applications - including technical documents and drawings - in one of our official languages (German, English or French)
- Analyze new inventions and assess their novelty and inventive activity
- Conduct detailed research in various scientific and technical fields to determine the state of the art
- Apply legal and procedural frameworks to make clear, high-quality decisions on the grantability of a patent
- Communicate your results clearly and constructively to applicants and third parties
- Cooperate with international colleagues in a diverse and inclusive environment
- Maintain high quality standards with a focus on diligence and scientific accuracy
- Contribute to the European innovation ecosystem by ensuring the fair and consistent application of the European Patent Convention (EPC) and related legal texts
