Senior Mine Engineer

Role Overview

Reporting to the Superintendent – Medium Term Planning, the Senior Mining Engineer owns and delivers the integrated mine schedule to support safe, efficient and commercially aligned underground operations. This role sits at the centre of planning and execution, primarily ensuring alignment between medium and long-term plans.

What You Will Do

Owning, generating and maintaining the Budget Schedule (1 month to 3 years), ensuring budget schedule alignment with LOM strategy, identifying schedule constraints, risks and opportunities, and leading and mentoring junior engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mining Engineering, demonstrated experience in underground mine planning or scheduling roles (4+ years minimum), advanced skills in the Deswik Suite, and exposure to sublevel or cave mining methods.
