Resident Manager

Join our team as a Resident Manager at The Kent, a collection of elegantly appointed condominium residences on the Upper East Side. As a supervisory position, you will act as the liaison between residents and Extell Management Services Inc., overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective ability to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, the Equal Employment Opportunity, Fair Housing and Human Rights statutes, and 32BJ Union Guidelines.
• High school diploma or GED and a vocational/technical background.
• A minimum of 5 years working with electrical, mechanical, plumbing equipment and systems.
• Luxury hotel or residential background.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters daily.
• Facilities and operations experience with solid knowledge of building systems.
• Prior experience with BMS (Building Management Systems, BuildingLink, and Yardi) is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of painting and finishing work.
• Strong background in working with fire, life, health, and safety systems.
• Effective judgement and decision-making.
• A working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Windows, Yardi etc.
• Effective supervisory skills with 5 years’ experience managing luxury building staff.
