The Ophthalmic Technician will assist doctors in patient eye examinations, perform various vision tests, and maintain patient flow. Travel to different clinic locations may be required, and overtime may be necessary.
Requirements
- Gathering medical records and patient information
- Taking ocular measurements, both anatomical and functional
- Administering or preparing medications
- Providing eye care and contact lens information to the patient
- Maintaining and cleaning ophthalmic instruments
- Assisting the doctors in basic procedures
