BIRDWA87611 - EHS Manager

Fairbanks Morse Defense is seeking an EHS Manager to lead their environmental, health, and safety programs in the Walpole, MA facility. The successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, develop and implement safety policies, and lead the creation of a LEAN, safety-driven culture.

Requirements

• Provide facility leadership and support in the areas of safety, health, and environmental compliance
• Develop and coordinate training on general safety procedures
• Analyze, teach, and influence safety improvements and behaviors
• Manage the development and execution of training and communication materials for teams
• Provide routine expert analysis to the facility regarding safety and health statistics and trends
• Participate in and provide leadership to the incident investigation process
• Research, recommend, and assist in the development and implementation of engineered safety solutions
• Manage facility environmental permitting, air compliance, incident investigation, including root cause analysis, spill prevention plans, pollution prevention, hazardous waste, auditing, and environmental training
• Raise awareness, at all levels of our organization, of the impact of emerging safety and environmental issues
