Senior Maintenance Technician

Fairfield is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance tasks, diagnose and repair issues, and supervise outside contractors. The role involves maintaining pool, hot tub, and other amenities, ensuring safety and cleanliness of buildings and grounds, and performing preventative maintenance and inspections. The Senior Maintenance Technician will also assist with safety meetings and compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal license required
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• 2+ years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
• Experience in supervising contractors preferred but not required
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
• General computer skills including operating a mobile device
• Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations
• Ability to be on-call for after-hours emergencies
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays
