Job Description
WDSU-TV, the NBC affiliate in New Orleans, LA, is seeking an Account Executive to sell advertising to local businesses and negotiate rates with ad agencies. This role requires a motivated individual focused on strong products, compensation, and teamwork. The company offers a full-fledged marketing solutions platform to retain and grow their client base.
Requirements
- Produce revenue across all available platforms
- Prospect, contact and present to developmental businesses
- Develop new revenue through building relationships with clients as their trusted advisor
- Form strategic and market partnerships
- Manage and up-sell account/client list
- Conceptualize, create, and deliver sales proposals
- Achieve individual sales goals while contributing to WDSU's dynamic sales team
- Have a digital first mindset
- Must be a team player
- Experience selling to business owners
- Understanding and use qualitative research to further sales effort
