We are currently looking for a:
- Debitorenbuchhalter / Billing Specialist (m/w/d) to join our Finance team in Hamburg.
What you do with us
- Create and process pre-prepared invoices as well as invoice drafts and the final invoicing.
- Take over the checking of instalments, time entry changes, implementation of depreciation, and the input and control of data in our billing system.
- Monitor incoming payments and open items, including debt collection.
- Work on preparing the monthly and annual accounts.
- Create evaluations and ad-hoc inquiries in the finance department.
- Take over the maintenance of master data and internal communication with the responsible persons.
- Work on the co-design of our Client Onboarding process.
- Check the compliance and further development of internal guidelines and processes.
What you bring with you
- Completed successful vocational training in business economics, ideally as a tax clerk (m/w/d), preferably with further training as a financial accountant (m/w/d).
- Bring several years of professional experience in financial accounting.
- Have a secure handling of the MS Office tools and advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Have a well-developed understanding of numbers and discretion.
- Your working style is structured, reliable, and fast.
- You are characterized by an analytical and conceptual thinking and decision-making ability.
- You have very good German and practical English language skills, assertiveness, and the ability to penetrate complex issues and present them in a concise and clear form.
- You convince us with your engagement and your way of proactively addressing problems and questions. You are flexible, open-minded, and timely in responding to new ideas.
- Last but not least: You enjoy bringing yourself and your skills to bear for our joint success and are a team player who not only sees the problem but also thinks of solutions and actively offers them.
