Care Practitioner

Care Practitioner role involves promoting social inclusion, supporting service users with learning and physical disabilities, and increasing their social and independent living skills in a person-centred way.

Requirements

• Ability to work within a team and lone working
• Must have or be willing to achieve SCQF level 6/7 or equivalent for Scottish Social Services Council registration
• Physical tasks including pushing and pulling of wheelchairs
• Flexibility in working days and hours
• Ability to promote social inclusion and maximize personal independence, health and wellbeing
