Head of Department, Resolution Strategy, Operations and CASS

The FCA is seeking a Head of Resolution Strategy, Operations and CASS (ReSOC) to lead a department responsible for CASS strategy, operations, and supervision, ensuring risks to client assets and consumers are effectively identified and mitigated. The role involves providing strategic and technical leadership on CASS and client assets issues, leading the FCA's work to strengthen the regulatory and legislative framework, and overseeing the department's operational risk identification function.

Requirements

• Significant experience of managing and influencing key stakeholders
• In-depth experience of client assets arrangements
• Significant experience in leading teams through fast-paced, difficult, and complex situations
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Exceptionally strong judgement, supported by highly developed analytical skills and high levels of diligence

• Competitive salary range: £135,000 - £170,000 for London, £121,500 - £153,000 nationally
