Job Description
As a Senior Environmental Specialist-Asbestos, you will lead complex environmental projects from hazardous building materials assessments through abatement design and construction administration. You'll develop detailed abatement plans and technical specifications, support regulatory compliance, review contractor documentation, and coordinate directly with clients and agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in hazardous building materials, environmental compliance, or asbestos consulting
- Active OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and valid NYS driver’s license
- NYSDOL-Certified Asbestos Building Inspector and Asbestos Project Designer
