Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Environmental Specialist with expertise in asbestos, lead-based paint, PCB, and mold investigations to lead complex environmental projects from hazardous building materials assessments through abatement design and construction administration. The ideal candidate will have experience in hazardous building materials, environmental compliance, or asbestos consulting, and will be able to develop detailed abatement plans, support regulatory compliance, and coordinate with clients and agencies. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $38.75-$41.25 hourly, plus competitive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and hybrid work schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in hazardous building materials, environmental compliance, or asbestos consulting
- Active OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and valid NYS driver's license
- NYSDOL-Certified Asbestos Building Inspector and Asbestos Project Designer
- Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Survey123, and the ability to read architectural renovation and demolition drawings
