Job Description
Responsible for the care and safety of patients, organization and preparation of instrumentation and equipment for surgical procedures, and infection control and safety.
Requirements
- Maintains established departmental policies and procedures
- Provides nursing care based on individual patient needs
- Maintains aseptic techniques
- Assists circulator in preparation of room for operative procedure
- Assumes responsibility for proper care of instruments and equipment
- Cooperates and supports team effort during procedures
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs
