Staff Reliability Engineer

Form Energy is hiring a Staff Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability and lifetime of our iron-air packs and deployed systems. This role reports into our Systems Reliability team, in Berkeley CA. As part of our Systems Reliability team, you will lead reliability test development and design for reliability for several of our pack level subsystems.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Reliability Engineering or related field with 7+ years of industry experience
• Demonstrated expertise in developing new tests to evaluate performance and/or reliability of mechanical systems
• Experience with liquid and gas handling systems (pumps, pipes, ducts, fans, etc) is a plus
• Familiar with developing accelerated lifetime tests to assess component reliability across a range of operating conditions
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills within a group of peers and the broader organization, including remote team members
