Job Description
The Global Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that will increase revenue and market share for Forward Air. They will be accountable for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (preferred)
- 5 + years of experience in new business development, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, acquiring and growing new accounts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
