Job Description
Franklin Street is seeking an Operating Engineer to assist in the hands-on maintenance of building systems. The ideal candidate must have general maintenance skills, a working knowledge of pertinent laws and regulations, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial HVAC service and/or repairs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial HVAC service and repairs
- High school graduate or GED
- Universal CFC certification
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to take direction but work independently
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English
- General knowledge of building codes and laws
- Ability to effectively use computers and computer programs
- Excellent communications skills
- Knowledge of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations
- Ability to work outdoors and/or without air conditioning for extended periods of time
