Operating Engineer

As an Operating Engineer at JLL, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the performance of commercial facility systems, ensuring facilities operate at peak performance and meet applicable safety and quality standards. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex building systems, maintaining multi-skilled capabilities across various disciplines.

Requirements

• Four or more years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems, demonstrating technical proficiency across multiple trades.
• Proven ability to analyze the operation of various commercial or industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems, accurately diagnose problems and malfunctions, and implement effective corrective action.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification (current and valid).
• Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
• Physical capability to perform demanding tasks including prolonged periods of bending, kneeling, squatting, standing, and reaching, as well as ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
