The Fraunhofer Society is seeking a Field Manager Optoelectronics to lead research projects, coordinate joint projects, and develop new business models for photodetectors, lasers, and photonics systems. The successful candidate will have a scientific university degree in physics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field of study, expertise in optoelectronics, and experience in project management and networking.

Requirements

• Academic background: completed scientific university degree (diploma/master) in physics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field of study
• Expertise: expertise and professional experience in optoelectronics, photodetectors, or lasers
• Networking: involvement in public and industrial research projects and a large network/contacts to industrial, public, and university partners
• Project management: practice in planning, coordinating, and managing projects
• Communication security: negotiation skills and experience in conflict management
• Business trips: willingness to undertake business trips
