Job Description
We are seeking a Researcher in the Field of TSSG Crystal Growth at the Fraunhofer Institute for Optronics, System Technology and Image Evaluation IOSB in Ettlingen, Germany. The position involves developing, investigating, and improving TSSG growth procedures for the crystal growth of oxide crystals for laser-optical applications.
Requirements
- Completed scientific academic degree in physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, crystallography, or equivalent fields
- Long-term experience in crystal growth, particularly in TSSG growth
- Advanced knowledge in crystal analytics as well as the associated analytical methods (X-ray diffraction, spectroscopy)
- Basic knowledge in the field of laser physics or nonlinear optics is advantageous
- Very good German (C1/C2 level) and very good English (at least B2 level)
