Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, growing regional import/export sales, and maintaining a book of business. A minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience is required, and a good mentality to enjoy a fantastic commission scheme.

Requirements

• Develop new business through research, prospecting, and qualifying new opportunities
• Increase market share within assigned territory and achieve assigned financial budget
• Successfully close new business and onboard new clients
• Maintain contact with all clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
• Work with the Pricing team on client pricing strategies and customer rate quotes
• Monitor and maintain clients' credit lines within Company guidelines
• Maintain and update the Company’s CRM
• Provide regular communication and a monthly budget review for management
