Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for bringing on and maintaining a book of business as well as growing regional import/export sales in Air/Ocean Internationally. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Develop new business through research, prospecting, and qualifying new opportunities.
• Increase market share within assigned territory and achieve assigned financial budget for volume, revenue, and profit.
• Successfully close new business and onboard new clients.
• Maintain contact with all clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Work with the Pricing team on client pricing strategies and customer rate quotes.
• Monitor and maintain clients' credit lines within Company guidelines.
• Maintain and update the Company's CRM
• Provide regular communication and a monthly budget review for management
• Client and Supplier Management
