Job Description
Frida is seeking an insights-driven Director, Category Management (Walmart) to join their team, dedicated to their Walmart business. The role will involve serving as a category expert for the baby category at Walmart, leveraging shopper data and market trends to influence shelf strategy and assortment decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, or related field
- 5+ years of direct Walmart experience in category management, shopper insights, or sales analytics
- Proficiency with syndicated data platforms such as Walmart Scintilla, Nielsen, or Circana
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to senior-level merchants
- Highly self-directed with a strong sense of ownership — this is a hands-on, individual contributor role
- Experience with planogram software (e.g., JDA/Blue Yonder, Apollo)
