Cheese Monger | Gourmet Department Lead

Gary's Wine & Marketplace is seeking a passionate, hands-on Cheese Monger | Gourmet Department Lead to oversee and elevate our artisanal cheese and gourmet foods program.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a cheese monger or in specialty food retail required
• Previous leadership or department ownership experience preferred
• Proven ability to manage inventory and place accurate, timely orders
• Excellent customer service, communication, and teaching skills
• Hands-on, proactive leadership style with attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic computer skills for ordering, inventory, and internal communication
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Must be at least 18 years old
